A snowy winter backdrop, a cozy teepee with bubbly and sweets, and a dreamy Colorado hot springs destination? Yes please! This striking winter wonderland shoot has the perfect balance of romance and style. We loved the idea of incorporating the snowy Rocky Mountains and all the drama such a serene setting can offer. Although this was an inspiration shoot, the love between real life newlyweds Melissa and Ian was palpable and brought all the warmth this wintry setting could handle! We wanted to tell the story of a bride and groom wandering through the woods and ultimately enjoying a champagne picnic before taking a dip in the hot springs in their wedding day attire! To add a bohemian vibe, we designed an intimate teepee lounge incorporating a mix of faux fur throws and a cowhide rug – all in a moody color palette of deep red, blue and grey. Details Delivered created a unique winter wedding bouquet with beautiful protea and sage greenery, and the most stunning flower crown overflowing with texture. We are still in awe of the unbelievable photos Daylene Wilson Photographic captured during this shoot, especially the steamy underwater shots in the hot springs. The beautiful desserts are colorful works of art by Honeycombe Denver and added the perfect finishing touches to this wintry inspiration. We truly had a ball designing and styling this incredible shoot, and could not have done it without our team of amazing vendors! We hope you love this as much as we do!
